Successfully completed the largest HIV surveillance testing for the 9 provinces in South Africa, the programme was managed by the Human Sciences Research Council , funded by the Centre for Disease Control (approx 20 000 participants)

Completed the largest HIV surveillance testing programme in all the Major Tertiary Institutions in South Africa (23 campuses throughout the 9 provinces) approximately 23 000 participants

We are services providers for several research groups from the University of Kwa Zulu Natal Medical School viz Womens Reproductive Health (Prof D Moodley), Dept of Paediatrics (Prof Rollins) Dept of Physiology (Prof Chuturgoon), CAPRISA (Prof Karrim)

In the light of Global laboratories becoming the laboratory of focus and a primary service provider for most international and local clients, it is envisaged that the laboratory will be classed as the most up to date, high tech, facility in the region.

The new expansion programme involves setting up a ‘State of Art laboratory’ with a supported Research and Development Sector supervised by the most experienced ACADEMICS in the field of HIV/AIDS. Date of completion October 2009
